Owned and run by Ian Pickles, Pickles Dance Studio caters for all types of dancing & performance including Ballroom, Latin American, Salsa, Argentine Tango, Ballet, Tap, Stage, Zumba, Country and Western Line Dance, Singing, drama, Latin-in-Line Dancing, Flamenco Karate Belly dance and Summer School.
You can find Pickles Dance Studio all year round in PalmaNova (just off roundabout 6) Martha´s Apartment block Jardiel poncela 1 in Son Caliu.
New to 2016 Pickles Dance Studio will be teaching in various Hotels in the Calvia area with classes and lessons, hotels to be confirmed at a later date, also mobile to do private group functions, party´s, work events at your home or Hotel, Schools. Ian started his Dance business working in local hotels and gyms in the winter of 2005 and was delighted at the response and enthusiasm from local residents. Taking the plunge, he opened his first studio in November 2006 followed by his Northern Studio opening in the Golf Club Pollensa in the Summer of 2009
Ian takes a committed but light-hearted and informal approach to teaching. Ian’s aim is to build confidence while helping people learn a new skill and to have as much fun as possible in the process. His classes appeal to a wide range of people of all ages, shapes and sizes and from all walks of life. Dancing is a great way of having fun, meeting new people and finding friendship - and perhaps losing a few inches developing a new posture in the process!
